Check outome very lucky kids in our program this Sunday — they were “mentored” by the design team of the ABC TV show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition!”
Host Ty Pennington and the rest of the crew came to Kemah to design and build a new home for the Beach family, whose home was flooded in Hurricane Ike. The family of 15 have been living in a trailer ever since.

Francisco, Malik, Travana and Travisha spent time on the set and were able to interact with everyone, including the celebrity guest host, Jessica Alba. The kids really shone on camera and were naturals!
While they weren’t able to wear our shirts, they did wear BBBS pins and ribbons indicating they are Littles and we will receive an acknowledgement during the show’s credits. The show is set to air sometime in March.
